Upon graduating summa cum laude with a degree in Finance from Georgia State University, Nick Wagner formally joined Reynolds & Reynolds as a financial advisor in 2013 and proceeded to obtain the widely recognized CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional (CFP®) designation.

Nick first sampled a financial services career as an intern in 2012, and under the tutelage of the partners, Devon and Shad Reynolds, he entered what the firm calls its ‘residency program,’ – a graduated approach to learning financial planning from the ground up. It was a good career choice for Nick, as it allowed him to marry his proficiency with numbers with his desire to help people. Today, Nick is a partner that continues to grow the firm.

Nick holds FINRA Series 6, 63, 65, and 7 securities licenses as well as his CFP® designation. In 2019, Nick recognized a huge need for advice around clients with student loans and studied to become a Certified Student Loan Professional™. Nick explains, “There are too many different types of repayment plans and forgiveness opportunities to treat student loans the same as other debts. It’s essential to evaluate all of the options and identify what route makes the most sense in coordination with a financial plan.”

To unwind, Nick enjoys spending time with his wife and two dogs. His wife, Alison, is a Physician Assistant that works in the Atlanta area and they met while running cross country in high school. Their two dogs, Murphy and Doby, are quite the handful but they love them like they were kids.
